Job summary

LeoForce in Chicago, IL is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Downtown TI projects. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing commercial construction from preconstruction through closeout, while helping prepare bids, budgets, and schedules.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–5 years of experience in commercial construction or internships. Proficiency with Procore and MS Project is preferred, along with strong communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 1-5 years of experience in commercial construction or relevant internships/co-op programs.
• Familiarity with construction documentation, project management tools, and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Support Project Managers in preparing bid packages, budgets, schedules, and subcontractor agreements.
• Review construction drawings, RFI submissions, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain smooth project communication.
• Monitor project progress, document changes, and assist in tracking costs and schedules.
• Attend job site meetings and assist in resolving field-related issues.
• Support the closeout process including punch list completion, warranty documentation, and final turnover.
