Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Team in planning, coordinating, and tracking assigned projects. Strong organization and communication skills are essential to ensure smooth execution and reliable service.

You will assist with contract review, purchase orders, submittals, and coordination with vendors and customers, maintaining documentation, schedules, and cost controls as part of FBM's growing organization.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree/Trade School
• 1–2 years as Project Assistant in the door and hardware industry or related
• Strong competency in computer software and project knowledge
• Attention to detail
• Able to organize multiple projects
• Well organized with ability to plan & coordinate
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Strong problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Project Management & Coordination: create short/long-term goals, manage communications, maintain milestones and status
• Contract & Documentation Support: review/manage project reports, create purchase orders, change orders
• Technical Review & Submittals: identify door swings, frames, hardware specs, coordinate submittals
• Engineering Support & Scope Compliance: ensure engineering aligns with production and contract scope
• Miscellaneous: uphold Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and values
