KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is helping our client hire an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial and mission-critical/data center construction projects in Meridian, MS. This direct-hire role offers a clear path to project management and hands-on exposure to schedules, documentation, budgets, and field operations.

You will work with seasoned PMs, coordinating RFIs, submittals, materials, and vendor coordination, while developing the skills to progress to a full PM role on

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Understanding of construction schedules, budgets, and contracts.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager throughout all phases of construction.
• Coordinate project schedules, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Manage material expediting, deliveries, and project files.
• Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and project reporting.
• Coordinate with field operations, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor project progress and communicate schedule impacts.
• Support inspections, quality control, and project closeout.
