Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing in the United States seeks a Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical construction for large-scale data center projects, overseeing planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, field coordination, and turnover.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mechanical PM, contractor background, strong leadership and communication, and experience with HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems; Procore is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Mechanical Project Management experience.
• Mechanical contractor experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping and plumbing systems.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, or data center projects.
• Procore or similar construction management software is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of mechanical construction projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, cost controls, billing, and project financials.
• Coordinate field operations, subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, and change orders.
• Lead client meetings and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules, identify project risks, and implement solutions.
• Support commissioning, testing, and final project turnover.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project specifications.
