Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support energy-related data center builds. You will coordinate documentation, assist with scheduling and budgeting, and help communicate status to the project team.

The role works under the Project Manager with emphasis on compliance, QA/QC, and effective meeting facilitation. The ideal candidate has a BS in Construction Management (or related field) and 3+ years in project management, engineering, or construction management.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field. Engineering degree highly preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years in Project Management, engineering, or construction management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project management team with energy source aspects of the project.
• Conduct pre-bid and job start meetings under supervision.
• Monitor contract compliance and report concerns to Project Manager.
• Facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes under supervision.
• Oversee approvals from government agencies and document them.
• Prepare field reporting for review by Project Manager.
• Perform QA/QC processes.
• Review change orders for completeness and conformance.
• Review RFIs/Submittals for completeness before distribution to design team.
• Provide basic CPM scheduling and budget management.
• Review and maintain As Built drawings.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Attendance at work during normal business hours.
