Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support statewide construction projects and act as SME for project technology. The role offers exposure to ground-up builds and interior fit-outs across a range of duties.

You will assist senior leadership, train new hires on project technologies, coordinate with design teams, manage schedules, review submittals and RFIs, track budgets, and ensure QA/QC on installed materials. Strong organizational skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction (e.g., Construction Clerk, Project Engineer).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with CMiC is a plus.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to senior leadership, including conducting project audits
• Train new hires on project-related technologies and tools
• Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and other professional teams
• Assist with scheduling subcontractor manpower and material deliveries
• Review and process submittals and RFIs (Requests for Information)
• Participate in cost control efforts and budget tracking
• Manage document control processes and track changes to contract documents
• Perform QA/QC inspections of installed materials
• Assist in punch list development and preparation of project close-out documentation
• Collaborate with the team on safety management initiatives
• Maintain organized records and documentation with a strong attention to detail
