Job summary

Irby Construction Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Quanta Services, is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager on multiple projects. You will help develop schedules, review deliverables, and coordinate with engineering, estimating, and procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business preferred or equivalent.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in transmission, distribution, and substation work.
• Experience in engineering, design, construction, contracting methodologies, and project management tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM in developing the initial project schedule with engineering, estimating, and construction teams.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Collaborate with procurement on subcontractor and vendor scopes and schedules.
• Support Health and Safety efforts with the Safety Manager and help prepare project reports.
• Assist in procurement, monitor progress, and facilitate project close-out and lessons learned.
