Job summary

Irby Construction Company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager on multiple infrastructure projects. You will assist with schedules, coordination, and procurement while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role emphasizes teamwork, independent work, and strong communication across engineering, estimating, and construction management teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, construction management, or engineering.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and stakeholders across projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM in developing initial project schedules with engineering, estimating, and procurement.
• Support value engineering, constructability reviews, and safety planning.
• Coordinate subcontractor and vendor scopes with PM review.
• Prepare monthly project review reports for management.
• Contribute to quality, administrative deliverables, and close-out activities.
• Assist in procurement and field document control; create daily reports and progress photos.
