Job summary

Irby Construction Company, a unit of Quanta Services, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support multiple transmission and substation projects. You will help develop schedules, coordinate with engineering, estimating, procurement, and field teams, and ensure safety and quality on deliverables.

The role emphasizes collaboration, process discipline, and communication with Senior Management. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and strong Microsoft Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related fields; work experience may substitute.
• Thorough knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment in transmission, distribution, and substation work.
• Experience in engineering, design, construction, and management of prime contracts helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing initial project schedules with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate with procurement on scopes, schedules, and vendor reviews.
• Support safety plans, incident reporting, and investigations.
• Prepare monthly project review reports with PM and leadership.
