Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball in Georgia is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project and Senior Project Managers with design, pre-construction and construction phase tasks. You will help manage scope, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and the bid process while coordinating with the design team.

The role requires the ability to work independently, read construction drawings, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand construction drawings.
• Working knowledge of project budgeting and pricing of materials and labor.
• 2+ years of experience in the construction field and may lead projects up to $2.5M.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Management team to help manage and estimate construction projects.
• Review drawings for correctness and assemble details for bids.
• Develop relationships with sub-contractors to secure bid information.
• Monitor progress, control costs, and prepare status reports.
