Job summary

U.S. Engineering is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager with planning and coordinating onsite construction activities across designated projects.

The role focuses on ensuring objectives are met within time and funding constraints while maintaining safety and quality on site. The position requires strong collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, with opportunities to grow in a dynamic engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field preferred.
• Minimum of 4–6 years’ technical or administrative experience in HVAC, piping, and plumbing at a commercial, industrial, or institutional level.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in developing and nurturing client relationships.
• Coordinate purchasing, procurement, subcontracts, submittals, and project schedules.
• Monitor project through on-site supervision to ensure quality within schedule and budget.
• Support safety programs and job site safety reviews.
• Identify opportunities for future projects and network internally and externally to pursue them.
• Responsible for project closeouts and reinforcing company values in project work.
