Job summary

U.S. Engineering invites qualified candidates to apply for the Project Engineer role. You will assist the Project Manager with planning and coordinating onsite construction activities for designated projects, ensuring objectives meet timeframes and funding parameters.

The position emphasizes drafting RFIs, reviewing submittals, budget control, and maintaining logs, while supporting client relationships and project forecasting. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction or engineering field.
• Equivalent technical training and related experience will be considered.
• HVAC, piping, and plumbing experience at commercial/industrial level is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Draft RFIs (Request for Information) and proposal letters.
• Review submittals and specifications and assist in documentation and budget control.
• Assist Project Manager in developing and nurturing client relationships.
• Estimate change orders, develop and monitor the project schedule.
• Maintain procurement, proposal, and correspondence logs.
• Facilitate quality control measures.
• Perform cost coding and project forecasting.
