Job summary

Jobot is seeking an APM seat in Chicagoland. You will own financial tracking, help drive buyout and change orders, and start managing pieces of the project instead of just supporting them.

The role offers exposure to costs, contracts, client communications, and close partnership with PMs, with competitive compensation and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Typically 4–7 years with a GC/CM background (PE → Sr. PE background ideal).
• Comfortable managing cost, schedule, and documentation.
• Procore/Bluebeam experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s in CM, Civil, or related (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Support PM with budget tracking, cost reports, forecasting, and buyout.
• Draft and manage change orders from pricing through approval.
• Coordinate subcontractors on scope clarifications and compliance.
• Lead portions of OAC and subcontractor meetings.
• Review pay apps, code invoices, and track project financials.
• Oversee closeout items, including punch, O&Ms, and turnover docs.
