Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support field operations on commercial construction projects. You will ensure the field supervision has materials, equipment and information needed to complete the scope, while protecting company interests and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.

You will assist with permits, submittals, RFIs, procurement, schedules, and client communications.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Construction Engineering or related field with 3 years of experience
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) and PDF editing tools

Responsibilities

• Assist SPM/PM with permits, proposals, submittals, contracts and change orders
• Review specs and drawings to define subcontractor scopes of work
• Prepare and distribute RFIs and Submittals, maintain logs
• Manage materials and equipment procurement and track deliveries
• Support project scheduling and reporting
• Assist with procurement and buyout processes
• Attend project meetings and document minutes
• Support site safety and quality control activities
