SL Recruit is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support active commercial construction projects. The role offers exposure to project operations, field coordination, and client interaction throughout the Tacoma area.

Ideal candidates bring 1–4 years of GC experience, a related degree, and familiarity with Procore/Bluebeam. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, with willingness to learn and grow within a GC environment.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Exposure to projects such as interiors, multifamily, commercial, education, or healthcare
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a GC environment

• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Track budgets, change orders, and cost reporting
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors
• Attend project and coordination meetings

• Support buyout, procurement, and closeout activities
• Work closely with Superintendents and field teams
