With progressive responsibility, the APM will take on sharper scheduling, lead fieldwork, attend meetings, and help ensure timely delivery. This role provides a clear path to greater PM responsibilities within a collaborative engineering environment.
Dewberry's Richmond, VA office is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM). The APM role is intended for those interested in Project Management but with no or limited project management experience. The APM will initially be responsible for assisting the Project Manager (PM) in supporting the client, providing feedback to the PM in order to quickly solve problems; providing quality engineering documents that meet the client’s desires and budget. With progressive experience, the APM will take on more leadership and responsibilities while managing projects. In short, the APM assists the PM in making them a “Client for Life”. Assists the client to achieve both their professional goals and the organization’s. Reports to the PM.
The projected range for this position is $95,000.00 - $122,000.00 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
