Job summary

Allegiance Group in New York City is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support hospitality construction projects and help deliver high-quality work across the NYC market.

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, subcontractors, architects and design teams from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets and scope are managed effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting hospitality projects on fast-paced jobsites.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, architects and design teams.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities on complex schedules.
• US citizen or Green Card holder status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day delivery of hospitality projects.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, and coordination.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, architects, and design teams.
• Review drawings, specifications and project scopes.
• Assist with procurement and subcontractor coordination.
• Help ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality results.
• Support project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout.

A well-established General Contractor in New York City is looking to add an experienced Assistant Project Manager to their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for an APM with experience in hospitality construction who enjoys working on fast-paced projects and wants to be part of a team delivering high-quality work across the NYC market.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting hospitality projects and be comfortable working closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, designers, and project teams from preconstruction through completion.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting Project Managers with the day-to-day delivery of hospitality construction projects
• Assisting with project schedules, budgets, and overall coordination
• Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, clients, architects, and design teams
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project scopes
• Assisting with procurement and subcontractor coordination
• Helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
• Supporting the Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout

What we're looking for:

• Experience working as an Assistant Project Manager on hospitality construction projects
• Experience with hotels, restaurants, resorts, or other hospitality environments preferred
• Strong understanding of the NYC construction market
• Experience working with subcontractors, architects, designers, and clients
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
• $90,000 - $115,000 base salary (DOE)
