Job summary

Jayco Talent in Houston, TX is seeking an Associate Project Manager to help lead major ground-up electrical projects alongside seasoned PMs and field leaders. You’ll gain hands-on experience and take on responsibility quickly.

You’ll coordinate with GCs, owners, architects, engineers, vendors, and field teams; manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation; monitor safety, quality, and progress to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 1+ years supporting electrical scopes on ground-up commercial or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project or similar project-management tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of electrical systems, construction sequencing, and code compliance.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work with field teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-range electrical construction from pre-con through closeout.
• Build and maintain budgets, schedules, manpower plans, and procurement logs.
• Coordinate with GCs, owners, architects, engineers, vendors, and field teams.
• Conduct site walks and monitor safety, quality, and progress.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Track materials, equipment, and delivery schedules.
• Support field supervisors and align with project goals.
• Assist with punch lists, closeout packages, and turnover documentation.
