Job summary

NextGen Security, LLC in Exton, PA is seeking an entry-level electronic security assistant project manager to support a Project Manager in completing projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to project coordination in a fast-growing security systems integrator environment.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong organizational and communication skills. Local travel may be required; potential for growth within the project management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred but not required).
• Prior internship experience within project management or related field (preferred but not required).
• Customer service experience a plus.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Superior problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to process and apply new skills/concepts quickly.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Teams & Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Procore, and other project management & design products (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings and assist with resource scheduling.
• Coordinate installation and subcontractor teams.
• Provide onsite technician support.
• Safely operate company vehicle as needed.
• Assist with project quality control and documentation.
• Assist with invoicing and project tasks.
• Represent NextGen Security as the main contact for customers.
• Local travel may be required.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an entry-level electronic security assistant project manager to join our fast-growing and dynamic team. This position will work directly with a Project Manager to assist in completing projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

This position will have multiple roles ranging from: attending project meetings, assisting with resource scheduling, such as installation and subcontractor team coordination, onsite technician support, ability to safely operate a company vehicle, project quality control, staging of equipment, project documentation assembly and review, assisting with invoicing & project tasks, and most importantly, representing NextGen Security as the valuable point of contact for our valued customers. Local travel may be required for this position.
