Job summary

GH Engage is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in the Chicago area to support delivery on industrial, manufacturing, and data center projects. This role focuses on coordination, documentation, and proactive assistive tasks across the project lifecycle.

You will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients to uphold safety, quality, and schedule objectives while refining budgeting and scheduling processes.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of construction project management experience
• Experience with a General Contractor
• Background in industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, data center, distribution, or large commercial projects preferred
• Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project controls
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction software
• Support Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage project documentation and coordination with subcontractors and clients
• Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling, and procurement
• Help drive project delivery while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule objectives
