Job summary

Chicagoland General Contractor in Oak Brook, IL is seeking an Assistant Project Manager with 2+ years of GC experience to support multiple commercial projects. The role involves coordinating with clients, architects, subcontractors, and field teams, and managing submittals, RFIs, and change orders.

You will assist with day-to-day project execution, budgets, schedules, and procurement activities, with a path to advancement into project management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with a General Contractor.
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects.
• Knowledge of project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project execution.
