Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight and supervision of MCI Counselor staff, including performance reviews and coaching.
  • Monitor service delivery through call reviews and real-time monitoring, maintaining accurate supervision records.
  • Ensure program goals are met in accordance with performance specifications and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with MCI leadership on program initiatives and quality improvement.
  • Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic support, connecting individuals to referrals and services.
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation of all interactions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community providers and external partners.

We are currently seeking an MCI Assistant Program Director to support the operations and quality of our Mobile Crisis Intervention services in Worcester.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field required
  • Minimum of 1 year of related mental health work experience required
  • Knowledge of mental illness, substance use, and care management systems
  • Understanding of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
  • Valid state driver's license with ability to pass a driving record review, and reliable vehicle for community-based work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
