Qualifications

  • BA/BS in related field with 1 year experience or HS Diploma/GED with 2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in treatment plan development and attend meetings.
  • Document progress towards treatment plans.
  • Perform interventions to address goals and develop skills.
  • Provide linkage with other program staff and service providers.
  • Communicate progress, mental status, and changes in daily notes.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, role modeling and supervision.
  • Participate in or facilitate group work as delegated.
  • Identify and address community integration issues.
  • Monitor and document medication administration.
  • Coordinate and/or monitor programmatic clinical and administrative tasks.
  • Train direct care staff in responsibilities for their role.
  • Supervise overnight staff as delegated by supervisor.
  • Provide leadership to program team during shifts, vacations, or leave.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, home-like living environment for persons served.
  • Remain alert during scheduled work shift.
  • Ensure paperwork, reports, trainings are up to date and completed on time.

Overview

Starting Rate: $20.25/hour

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday 8am-4pm

The Assistant Program Manager will implement the mission of BH Residential Services. They will provide all residential services to persons served and perform, coordinate and/ or monitor designated programmatic administrative or clinical functions.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development of treatment plans and attend other treatment meetings, including weekly staff meetings.
  • Document progress towards treatment plans.
  • Perform interventions with persons served that address their identified goals and result in skill development.
  • Provide linkage with other program staff and other service providers.
  • Communicate individual’s progress, mental status, and any changes in daily notes.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, role modeling and supervision to persons served.
  • Participate in or facilitate group work as delegated by supervisor.
  • Identify and address community integration issues for persons served, as designated.
  • Monitor and document medication administration.
  • Perform, coordinate, and/or monitor a range of programmatic clinical and administrative responsibilities as delegated by supervisor.
  • Train direct care staff in responsibilities for their role.
  • Supervise overnight staff as delegated by supervisor.
  • Provide coordination and leadership to program team during shifts, vacations, or leave in the absence of supervisor.
  • Ensure a clean, safe and home-like living environment for persons served.
  • Remain alert at all times throughout scheduled work shift.
  • Ensure all paperwork, reports, trainings are up to date and completed within expected timelines.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in related field and 1 year experience; or H.S. Diploma/GED and 2 years related experience.
  • Strongly prefer that a candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations
  • Ability to read English and communicate effectively in the primary language of the program to which they are assigned
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and as well as work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
