Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in plant pathology, microbiology, microbial ecology, or a related field with experience, interest, and academic coursework related to microbial communities of healthy and diseased plants.

Responsibilities

• Establish a competitive, externally funded research program in plant microbiome science addressing plant health and disease.
• Teach GDB103: The Microbiome of People, Animals and Plants and contribute to related courses.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students and participate in curricular development, outreach, and service.
