UC Davis seeks an Assistant Professor of Food Microbiology in the Department of Food Science and Technology. This 9-month, tenure-track position includes AES appointment and emphasizes genomics and ecology of microbial foodborne pathogens.

The appointee will establish a funded research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses such as FST104 and FST108, mentor students, and contribute to curricular development and public outreach as part of university service.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in food microbiology and genomics.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students and participate in curricular development.
• Engage in outreach and service activities, collaborating with Extension specialists and public stakeholders.
• Build an internationally recognized research program on genomics and ecology of foodborne pathogens.
