UC Davis in California invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Food Microbiology with an emphasis in Genomics and Ecology of Microbial Foodborne Pathogens. The appointee will establish a funded research program and teach undergraduate and graduate courses, such as FST104 and FST108, while engaging across disciplines to advance food safety knowledge.

The position is a nine-month, tenure-track appointment with responsibilities in research, outreach, and service within the AES.

Qualifications

• Establish a competitively funded research program in genomics and ecology of foodborne pathogens.
• Collaborate across disciplines to translate findings into food safety practice.

Responsabilités
