Under the direction of the Dean, the faculty member is responsiblefor providing academic instruction to students for the assignedgraduate courses. The faculty member will serve as a mentor tostudents; contribute to department and university activities asneeded; and provide service to faculty and/or university committeesas outlined in the faculty handbook.
The Department of Learning & Teaching offers credentialprograms in Multiple Subject (elementary), Single Subject(secondary), and Educational Specialists (Mild to Moderate SupportNeeds, Extensive Support Needs, and Deaf and Hard of Hearing).Common responsibilities for the position include teaching in theprograms, student advisement, and service to the university andbroader community.
Possession of a master's degree in education, educationalleadership, special education, or a related field and P-22 teachingexperience.
