UC Davis invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Food Microbiology with emphasis in Genomics and Ecology of Microbial Foodborne Pathogens. This 9-month tenure-track position includes an AES appointment and expects research, teaching, and outreach.

The appointee will establish a funded program on genomics and ecology of foodborne pathogens, collaborate across disciplines, mentor students, and contribute to curriculum development and public outreach.

Formación

• Establish a funded research program in genomics and ecology of foodborne pathogens.
• Collaborate across disciplines to translate findings into food safety knowledge.
• Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses.

Responsabilidades

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses such as FST104 and related offerings.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate students and participate in curricular development.
• Engage in public outreach and departmental/university service.
