Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-the-job guidance and training to Foreman.
• Enforces safety policies with Foremen and production employees.
• Coordinates personnel management with Human Resources department.
• Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize resources, machines, and equipment.
• Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operations reports to identify causes of nonconformity with specs and problems.
• Develops and implements operating methods and procedures to eliminate problems and improve product quality.
• Revises production schedules and priorities due to equipment failure or other issues.
• Consults with engineering to modify machines and equipment for better production and quality.
