Job summary

Champion Home Builders is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct and coordinate manufacturing operations in the absence of the Production Manager. You will guide Foremen, enforce safety, and collaborate with HR, procurement, maintenance, and QA to optimize resources and performance.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, with a focus on solving problems and improving product quality under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong and clear communication skills.
• Problem solving and analytical skills with leadership ability.
• Flexible to work under deadlines and high work pressure.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates production in the absence of the Production Manager.
• Provide on-the-job guidance and training to Foreman.
• Enforce safety policies with Foremen and production employees.
• Coordinate personnel management with HR.
• Coordinate production with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize resources.
• Review reports to identify causes of nonconformity with specifications and operational problems.
• Develop and implement methods to eliminate problems and improve product quality.
• Revise production schedules and priorities due to equipment failure or problems.
• Consult with engineering to modify machines for better production and quality.
