Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Product Manager to coordinate activities in support of the Product Manager, investigate market potential, and serve as a technical advisor for designated products.

This role requires 1–3 years in the firearms industry in Product Management or related fields, with close collaboration across Sales, R&D, Operations, and suppliers. The position involves helping with product requirements, SKU creation, and supporting full NPI efforts, while training Ops staff

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent experience in business/marketing.
1–3 years in the Firearms industry in Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, or similar role.
Solid business acumen, market research and analysis experience, basic financial literacy and project tracking.
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct market research to understand customers' needs and translate them into sound business plans.
Assist Product Manager with product requirements documents for product, packaging, accessories, and manuals.
Create SKUs and BOMs as needed.
Support full-spectrum NPI development across stages with Engineering and Project Management.
Coordinate with Marketing to develop NPI and sustainment marketing campaigns.
