Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring an Assistant Produce Manager in Los Angeles. You will assist the Produce Manager with merchandising, ordering, inventory, and supervising the Produce team to ensure high quality, fresh produce and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with basic math knowledge.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have outgoing, friendly behavior and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team.
• Maintain department cleanliness and follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jack.
• Stand/walk/bend/climb during shift and manage heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in merchandising for productivity and profit.
• Handle ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervise the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards through receiving, processing, pricing, signage, and rotation.
• Lead and train Produce team to deliver high quality products and service.
• Unloading deliveries and maintaining produce equipment.
