Job summary

4over, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Press Operator for the 1st shift at our Dayton plant in Huber Heights, OH. The role supports Press Operators and Lead Press Operators with setup, feeding, and monitoring of presses in a climate-controlled environment.

Primary schedule is 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential variation based on business needs. Compensation is commensurate with experience, and safety is a core priority in our production facilities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working with a Sheet Fed Press Operator
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and understand English policies, job-related documents, and instructions

Responsibilities

• Assist press operators in setting up, adjusting, and maintaining printing presses to ensure optimal performance.
• Load and unload paper, ink, and materials onto the press, ensuring stock is aligned for printing.
• Monitor print runs for color consistency, alignment, and overall print quality; report issues promptly.
• Assist in mixing ink and maintaining ink levels for consistent color reproduction.
• Identify minor technical issues and troubleshoot under operator guidance.
• Clean presses, rollers, and equipment to prevent malfunctions.
• Prepare materials for upcoming jobs and organize job orders.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Complete paperwork and keep accurate records.
• Attend department meetings and assist with duties as assigned
