Job summary

4over is seeking an Assistant Press Operator for the 3rd shift at our Dayton plant in Huber Heights, OH. The role supports the Press Operator and Lead Press Operator, ensuring proper setup, feeding of stock, and monitoring print quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience with a Sheet Fed Press Operator, a high school diploma or GED, and a keen eye for detail. Training may occur at other times; position offers growth in a climate-controlled, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year’s experience of working with a Sheet Fed Press Operator.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Assist press operators in setting up, adjusting, and maintaining printing presses.
• Load and unload paper, ink, and materials onto the press.
• Monitor print runs for quality and color consistency.
• Assist in mixing ink and maintaining ink levels.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor press issues.
• Clean presses, rollers, and equipment.
• Prepare materials for upcoming jobs and organize job orders.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE.
• Attend department meetings and complete required paperwork.
