Job summary

ArtiFlex Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for 1st shift at the Wooster facility. The role involves operating the press machine, packing parts, and inspecting for defects, with potential forklift use and setup duties.

You will work on the plant floor, following safety and quality/environmental programs, completing documentation, and meeting run-rate targets. A high school diploma and ability to lift 40 pounds are required, with endurance for standing and repetitive motions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions with arm, hand, shoulder, back.
• Forklift Operator’s license, if required.

Responsibilities

• Support and follow the Company Safety Programs
• Support and follow quality & environmental programs
• Operate presses and perform start of shift inspection
• Placing parts in racks and labeling accordingly
• Complete basic manufacturing documentation
• Trouble-shoot quality, press, and set-up problems
• Inspect parts as indicated in the PIP
• Achieve standard run rates
• Perform all other work as deemed necessary by supervision

Manufacturing Associate – 1st Shift

The Press Operator operates the press machine, packs parts, and inspects parts for defects. The Press Operator may also be required to repair defective parts and/or operate a forklift. The Press Operator reports directly to the Pressroom Supervisor.
