Cadence Education’s Winwood Children’s Center in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Preschool Assistant Director to lead a vibrant team of educators and ensure high-quality early childhood education. You will guide operations, safety, and family engagement while upholding licensing standards and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years of teaching experience, a degree in early childhood education or related field, and a commitment to professional development and child-centered learning.

• Meets state licensing standards, including background screening and fingerprinting.

What Makes You Our Leadership All-Star

• Proven success as an Assistant Director at a large school.
• 3-5 years of hands-on teaching experience.
• Meets state licensing standards, including criminal background screening and fingerprinting.
• Education/experience in one of these:
• Bachelor’s degree + 6+ months in group childcare, OR
• Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education
• Deep knowledge of national/state education standards, licensing, fire, health, and OSHA regulations.
• Strong grasp of USDA Nutritional Standards for Schools.
• At least 21 years old with corporate driving requirements met.
