Job summary

Allen Turner Chevrolet in Crestview, FL seeks a motivated Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to identify and acquire quality vehicles from private sellers and online marketplaces. You’ll coordinate appraisals, arrange pickups, and work with the Vehicle Buyer to support inventory goals.

The role emphasizes strong communication, relationship-building with sellers, and organizational skills, with a compensation structure that includes monthly base pay plus commissions and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and communicating through text and social media platforms.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of vehicles and automotive terminology preferred, but not required.
• Experience in sales, customer service, call center, or automotive environments is a plus.
• Proficient with computers, internet research, and mobile apps.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment drug screen and background/MVR screen.

Responsibilities

• Search online marketplaces daily to identify potential vehicle purchase opportunities.
• Travel locally to locate, evaluate, and assist with the pickup of vehicles for acquisition.
• Contact private sellers via phone, text, email, and messaging platforms to gather vehicle information and negotiate appointments.
• Build rapport with sellers and provide a professional, customer-focused experience.
• Schedule appointments for vehicle appraisals and acquisitions.
• Collect and organize vehicle details, including VINs, mileage, condition, photos, and ownership information.
• Follow up consistently with leads and maintain communication throughout the acquisition process.
• Assist with tracking acquisition activity and maintaining accurate records in dealership systems.
• Stay informed on market trends and vehicle values.
• Work closely with the Vehicle Buyer and management team to support inventory goals.
• Support additional dealership or department duties as needed.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Allen Turner Chevrolet in Crestview.
