Allen Turner Chevrolet in Crestview, FL is seeking a motivated Vehicle Acquisition Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You’ll identify, contact, and evaluate vehicles from private sellers and online sources, coordinating appraisals and pickups to help grow our used-vehicle inventory.

This role rewards proactive outreach, strong communication, and dependable organization as you travel locally, build seller rapport, and support the dealership’s inventory goals

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work independently and stay organized.
• Experience in sales, customer service, call center, or automotive environments is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background/MVR.

Responsibilities

You’ll have the opportunity to build valuable automotive industry knowledge while working closely with our Vehicle Buyer and management team.ResponsibilitiesSearch online marketplaces and other sources daily to identify potential vehicle purchase opportunities.Travel locally throughout the day to locate, evaluate, and assist with the pickup of vehicles for acquisition, including roadside sale vehicles, private-party purchases, and other off-site buying opportunities.Contact private sellers via phone, text, email, and messaging platforms to gather vehicle information and negotiate appointments.Build rapport with sellers and provide a professional, customer-focused experience.Schedule appointments for vehicle appraisals and acquisitions.Collect and organize vehicle details, including VINs, mileage, condition, photos, and ownership information.Follow up consistently with leads and maintain communication throughout the acquisition process.Assist with tracking acquisition activity and maintaining accurate records in dealership systems.Stay informed on market trends and vehicle values.Work closely with the Vehicle Buyer and management team to support inventory goals.Support additional dealership or department duties as needed.QualificationsStrong communication and customer service skills.Comfortable making outbound calls and communicating through text and social media platforms.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay organized.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Basic knowledge of vehicles and automotive terminology preferred, but not required.Experience in sales, customer service, call center, or automotive environments is a plus.Proficient with computers, internet research, and mobile apps.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Must be able to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment drug screen and background/MVR screen.Join Our TeamIf you’re looking for a career where you can build relationships, develop your skills, and be part of a company that values its people, we’d love to hear from you!Allen Turner Automotive is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
