The Role

As a Sales Associate, you'll work directly with customers throughout the vehicle shopping and purchasing experience. You'll learn about their needs, present vehicle options, demonstrate features, conduct test drives, and help them move through the sales process.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and assisting customers throughout the vehicle-buying process
• Asking questions and identifying customer needs and preferences
• Recommending vehicles based on each customer's needs and budget
• Developing product knowledge of new and pre-owned vehicles, features, technology, and available options
• Demonstrating vehicles and conducting test drives
• Maintaining consistent follow-up with current and prospective customers
• Building relationships that lead to repeat business and customer referrals
• Working with Sales Managers and other team members to meet dealership goals
• Providing professional, responsive customer service throughout the sales process
• Maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude
• Handling additional responsibilities as assigned

What We're Looking For

The right person for this position is driven, personable, dependable, and comfortable working in a goal-oriented environment. Automotive experience is helpful, but we are also interested in candidates who have demonstrated success in other types of sales.

You should have:

• At least one year of sales experience preferred
• A demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and meet sales objectives
• Strong verbal communication, listening, and negotiation skills
• A customer-focused approach and professional demeanor
• The motivation to work independently while contributing to a team
• A strong work ethic and commitment to personal integrity
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Availability to work a flexible dealership schedule, including weekends
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) screening
