Job summary

ENFRA in Florida seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager across the project life cycle, including pricing, budgeting, estimating, subcontractor management, and scheduling on industrial HVAC and plumbing projects.

You will contribute to meeting safety, budget, and schedule goals while developing your career in mechanical construction, with travel about 20% to job sites; strong planning and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in construction/ME field; practical industry experience valued.
• 0–2 years of industry experience.
• Ability to read plans and specs.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe work environment through safety meetings and investigations.
• Support project managers and superintendents in executing the project life cycle.
• Plan and manage HVAC and plumbing installations to meet code and schedule.
• Participate in meetings to support project goals.
• Prepare vendor/subcontractor orders, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Assist in monthly cost reviews and deviations tracking.
• Help with change orders, documentation, and project close-out.
• Collaborate with the project team to progress career in mechanical industry.
