Job summary

SSOE is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Industrial Facilities Design team. The role supports our Facilities Battery/Complex Projects Operations and PM teams across multiple US offices, including Phoenix.

The position offers exposure to diverse projects, client coordination, and growth opportunities in the industrial marketplace. You will work with senior staff to develop schedules, budgets, and documentation, while traveling as needed to coordinate with clients and other

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Engineering qualifying for licensure or an Associate degree in engineering.
CAPM Certification encouraged.
Minimum one year experience as an Engineer 1 or three years related experience.
Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Assist Sr. Project Managers with day-to-day project tasks, staffing to fee, work plans, schedules, budgets.
Assist in preparing project plans, budgets, control procedures.
Manage small and low-complexity projects under supervision.
Audits client billings for Project Manager approval.
May be the primary communication link between project teams, consultants and outsourcing partners.
Follows established procedures to effectively administer project, e.g., cost estimating, correspondence, document controls.
Communicates client's requirements to each discipline.
Participates in client meetings and prepares minutes for distribution.
Assist in logging RFI, submittals, filing and weekly reports.
Assist in coordinating meetings and document control with client, contractors, regulators, others.
Occasional travel may be required.
