Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a heavy civil highway and bridge project in the Naples area. You will support cost, schedule, subcontracts and owner reporting on FDOT work, with a clear path to increased responsibility on a stable project team.

The role targets candidates with 5+ years of construction management experience, a relevant four-year degree, and the ability to coordinate multiple activities under pressure onsite in Naples, Florida.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management experience on complex projects
• Bachelor's degree in CM/CS or engineering/architecture with business/admin training
• Based in Southwest Florida or willing to relocate to Naples

Responsibilities

• Plan cost, resources and schedule for the project
• Administer subcontracts and manage subcontractor performance
• Coordinate workers, materials and equipment with the field team
• Interpret drawings, specifications and regulations for the team
• Handle contracts, permits and licenses
• Supervise assistant managers and engineers and review their reports
• Correct safety issues on the job and back the safety program
• Control the budget and hold the schedule
• Report progress to owners, engineers and architects
