Canadian Breaks Consulting, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager – Consultant to support a midstream oil and gas PMO. You will build estimate packages, schematics, and schedules, manage contract administration, and coordinate across construction, engineering, commercial, contractor, and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PM/controls/engineering/estimating in midstream oil and gas.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in the client's Midland, TX office; make site visits several times per week; pass drug and alcohol screen; work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience reading P&IDs, alignment sheets, plot plans, and construction drawings; prepare high-level schematics.
• Experience with pipeline codes and standards such as 49 CFR Part 192 and ASME B31.8.
• Experience building and maintaining project schedules in MS Project or Primavera P6.

Responsabilités

• Administer contracts, including work offers, change orders, and supporting documentation, ensuring alignment with contract terms and project budgets.
• Support the development of cost estimates and estimate packages for potential projects, including scope definition, quantities, contractor and vendor pricing, and assumptions.
• Identify and implement improvements to estimate package templates, tools, and processes.
• Prepare high-level schematics and project schedules to support project planning, approval, and execution.
• Coordinate meetings with construction personnel, engineers, commercial teams, general contractors, and material vendors.
• Request and track contractor and material vendor quotes, lead times, and deliveries.
• Perform site visits several times per week to verify field conditions, scope, and progress.
• Track project costs, commitments, and changes, and support forecasting and reporting.
• Maintain organized project files, contract records, and estimate documentation.
• Support project execution activities as the role develops, including contractor coordination, progress tracking, and closeout.
• Manage and abide by all client safety protocols during office and field activities.
• Provide status, risk, and mitigation updates to CBC leadership and the client.
