Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for commercial construction in Owings Mills, MD. You will support a growing team, assist in estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating multiple tenant improvement and commercial projects valued around $0.8M to $1M.

Responsibilities include bid preparation, budgeting, RFI/submittal management, and coordination with owners, GCs, and subs. OSHA 10/30 required; two years of industry experience preferred. Onsite role with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years construction industry experience preferred.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications required.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost tracking for commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed estimating and project takeoffs for bids.
• Manage project bidding including scope review, pricing, and proposals.
• Maintain project budgets and track costs through lifecycle.
• Manage RFI, submittal logs, and change orders.
• Prepare prime/subcontracts and purchase orders as needed.
• Interpret plans and blueprints accurately.
