WIN Waste Innovations is seeking an Assistant Plant Operator in Lynn, MA. The role involves operating boilers and auxiliary plant equipment, making adjustments to keep operations safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant.

You will assist the Plant Operator, monitor instrumentation, document plant activities, and participate in water testing and APC system operations under guidance. A focus on teamwork, safety, and accurate reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associates/bachelor's desirable.
• Mechanical skills to perform varied tasks such as inspections and equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of steam generating power plant operation and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Operator in daily plant operation and maintenance.
• Perform turbine/generator APC inspections and monitor stability of operations.
• Document activities and maintain logs with clear, accurate records.
• Operate demineralization system and conduct water tests per chemistries.
• Collaborate with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment issues and optimize performance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and complete required training programs.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and management.
