AJM Packaging Corporation in Vineland, NJ is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to lead high-speed manufacturing operations, drive Lean initiatives, and ensure product quality, safety and OTIF delivery in a 24/7 environment.

You will oversee production, quality, maintenance, inventory, warehousing and shipping, implement 5S, VSM, TPM and Kaizen, and develop a culture of continuous improvement with a hands-on, Gemba management style.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
• 5+ years’ operations management in 24/7 high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong Lean principles with ability to drive transformation (Black Belt preferred).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to relocate in the future.
• Bi-Lingual in Spanish a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead planning, coordination, and management of the entire plant and staff.
• Drive Lean and Continuous Improvement across the facility with measurable changes.
• Ensure maintenance excellence in machinery and the facility.
• Foster customer service focus and OTIF delivery schedule adherence.
• Oversee inventory and procurement of production materials and parts.
• Supervise staff and provide instruction and performance feedback.
