Job summary
AJM Packaging Corporation in Joplin, MO is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in high-speed manufacturing. You will drive maintenance best practices, supervise a department, and ensure uptime and throughput of production machinery.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 8+ years in industrial maintenance, and at least 3 years in a leadership role, with strong PLC, servo, hydraulic and pneumatic skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
- 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge across electrical and mechanical requirements including PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, servo motors and machining.
Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise and participate in repair, maintenance and installation of mechanical equipment.
- Organize department to maximize uptime and throughput in high-volume manufacturing.
- Develop and manage a preventative maintenance program.
- Troubleshoot production machinery and related equipment.
- Track inventory of maintenance supplies and train staff.
