CapstoneONE Search is seeking a Senior Manager - Plant Operations for a flagship West Michigan facility of a global industrial manufacturer. The role reports to the General Manager and combines hands-on leadership with building systems to support long-term strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
• 8+ years in industrial manufacturing.
• 4+ years in formal leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across day-to-day manufacturing operations with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity outcomes.
• Lead and develop multi-disciplinary manufacturing teams, fostering ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage end-to-end production flow, aligning schedules, capacity, inventory, and customer commitments.
• Drive quarter-over-quarter operational improvements through lean manufacturing, process optimization, and Kaizen initiatives.
• Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve throughput, margin, and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in operational budgeting, capital planning, and execution of approved improvement and automation projects.
• Monitor key operational metrics (scrap, efficiency, delivery, inventory, margin) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong EHS culture.

A world-class, multi-billion-dollar industrial manufacturing organization seeks to hire a Senior Manager - Plant Operations at their flagship production facility West Michigan. Reporting to the General Manager for the site, this high-visibility position will provide hands-on operational leadership while also developing systems and processes to support longer-term strategic objectives. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.

• Provide leadership across day-to-day manufacturing operations with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity outcomes.
• Lead and develop multi-disciplinary manufacturing teams, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage end-to-end production flow, ensuring alignment between schedules, capacity, inventory, and customer commitments.
• Drive quarter-over-quarter operational improvements through lean manufacturing, process optimization, and Kaizen initiatives.
