Job summary

Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford is seeking an Assistant Patient Care Manager to support clinical management and administrative coordination on a designated unit. You will supervise staff, coordinate patient care operations, and act as a resource to the Patient Care Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, two years of related experience, and an active CA RN license with BLS; PALS or RQI Pediatric Life Support within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Two years of progressively responsible nursing experience.
• Active California RN license.
• BLS certification; PALS or RQI Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises patient care staff and clinical operations for designated shifts.
• Coordinates clinical management and administrative functions with the Patient Care Manager.
• Mentors staff and coordinates orientation and ongoing development.
• Ensures compliant, high-quality patient care aligned with standards and policies.
• Serves as liaison to the Patient Care Manager and participates in unit planning.
