LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for its Level One Trauma Center perioperative services, overseeing cardiac, thoracic, and vascular units with responsibility for 30 direct reports. You will manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions while helping drive patient care plans and policy compliance.

The role emphasizes staff development, performance reviews, and alignment with departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• 2–5 years nursing experience; 5–10 years preferred.
• RN license required; supervisory experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage personnel including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and professional development.
• Develop and oversee staffing, budgets, and resource allocation to meet departmental goals.
• Coordinate patient care, ensuring interventions are appropriate for patients’ age and needs, and document accordingly.
• Lead staff communication, conduct performance reviews, and address disciplinary issues.
• Ensure staff productivity aligns with operational objectives, maintaining a safe environment.
